Death is a portal and a door. Death is not the cessation of life, but a door from one realm to the next. Death means separation. When someone dies, the spirit separates from the body, and the bible says to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. Death is heavy duty stuff, and when it comes to the kingdom of God, death is a door.
BUT!! Jesus paid the price so that we no longer are separated from God. God has sacrificed his one and only begotten Son so that we may be free. The voice of the Lord says that the debt is paid so that we can continue to live. He died… and took my death. The process from one realm into another takes time, and it takes separation from our fleshy ways to embrace the beauty of divine guidance, companionship, and mentorship.
God says that we have what it takes. Our fight is not against flesh but against the powers and principalities of darkness.
A moment to say thank you God for trusting me with trouble. My journey is called upon your Will and Purpose, I know God that I am not where I want to be, but I know that you will work all things for the good for us who love you. Our love may fail, but, oh God, your love never fails – I boast in you. I rejoice in your power in the midst of my weakness… God you are beautiful.
We are on our knees. Help us father, we do not want to live a life of slavery, but, one that is free and most importantly in You.
In Jesus name, our Lord and Saviour, Amen.
